About the School and Accommodation
Sidcot School is located in southwest England, just 20 minutes from Bristol airport and about 2 hours from London. It has a swimming pool, riding base, Wi-Fi, library, art center, modern dining room. Students are accommodated in rooms with 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 beds. The bathrooms are on each floor. Usually, the individual rooms are offered to students aged 16 and over. 

Leisure and Sports
In the afternoon and evening  they organize various games and fun activities: paintball, first aid course, archery, fencing, theater, sports, young talent show, disco program. For sports activities, students have access to the gym and the swimming pool.

Extra sports
For an additional fee, they offer horse riding lessons (3 hrs / wk.). They thake place in groups at the  school club.

Trips
All one-day trips are organized on Saturdays and Sundays. Some of the destionations can be:  Thorpe Park, Stratford, Oxford, Birmingham, London, Exeter, Bournemouth, Eden Project, Warwick, Bath. Half day trips are at Bristol, Wood House Park, Trampoline Park, Cabot Circus.

About the Courses

  • Course for children (7 - 12 years): the course includes 26 hours per week of English, math, natural sciences, and art. Teachers have vast experience in working with students of this age.
  • Preparation and review for GCSE, IB and A-Levels (12 - 14; 15-18 years): the study includes 40 hours per week. This program is recommended for British and foreign students. Students are assigned into groups by age and chosen subjects, not by the level of knowledge of English. Students aged between 15 - 17 years will elect 4 subjects per week among arts, theatre, music, biology, chemistry, physics, economics and business, English, essay writing, mathematics, history, design and technology, presentation skills, literature, IT, media, psychology, theory of knowledge, societies and ecology. Proposing a matter of these groups depends on the number of people registered. Students aged between 12 and 14 years study subjects like: English, mathematics, geography, history, literature, arts. Students can develop academic and IT skills, gather information and hold presentations.
  • Get Ready for Computer Science (15+ years; 4 - 18 July): a STEM focused course bringing together computer science and related subjects such as mathematics, physics and art. Explore your technology interests in this two week camp. This innovative course combines theory, experimentation and the technical with hands on project based learning. You will learn about multimedia production, programming, embedded systems, robotics and web-design. You will develop your technical skills, as well as your teamwork, communication and confidence with technology.
