About the course

The College Experience is a program designed for American and foreign high school students who have decided to continue their studies at the university. The program takes place at renowned US universities and is run by professionals and renowned professors in the field. The program offers a wide range of courses that encourage students to look for new experiences. Seminar classes with an interactive format have the role of stimulating each student's ability to think critically and independently, write, reason and to communicate clearly. The course consists of 3 components each week: one main morning subject (5 times / week), a secondary subject in the afternoon (3 or 4 times a week) and a club of interest. Students choose their own subjects. The program offers the opportunity to experience student life and enrich the general culture through cultural and recreational excursions.

Academic training
Includes in-depth study of various university and pre-university subjects. Courses are structured as seminars. One subject is scheduled in the morning and another one is chosen for the afternoon. Morning classes are held five times a week, and afternoon classes are four or five times a week. Courses are seminar type, so participation and commitment are essential. Although the content of the course will be a challenge, homework is limited to assuring students a full experience. Study groups can range from eight to sixteen, depending on the discipline.

Interest clubs
These practice-oriented clubs are held twice a week. They offer students the opportunity to discover new interests or to focus on the passions they already have. Workshops are designed as a more formal version of extracurricular programs offered daily and will take place in the afternoon, five times a week. The length of a workshop depends on the subject chosen. Fitness workshops, for example, may last for an hour or an hour and a half, while university-attended workshops or community-based services may take longer. Workshops are driven with passion by experienced school members.

Optional - Preparing for SAT
Includes full SAT training through the Princeton Review. SAT Diagnostic tests are performed, with a customized report for each individual learner. The program is organized to include 18 hours of training in small study groups as well as individual consultations, plus 3 complete SAT Diagnostic tests. All students have an online Princeton Review account where they can continue to practice and track their progress and performance.

Tufts University
Some of the subjects listed are only offered in the first or second session. A matter can be studied for two weeks. Students have full access to university facilities including the library, the computer lab, and the student center.
