About the School
Dulwich College was founded in 1619 by renowned actor Edward Alleyn during the reign of James I. The College moved to its current location in 1866 in the building designed by Charles Barry Junior - the architect's son who designed the British Parliament building. The distance to London is only 20 minutes by train.

Accommodation
Dulwich College has 4 campuses, each of which has a shared living room with TV and video, computers with internet access, telephones. Accommodation is made in comfortable rooms with one to five beds. For the older ones, some rooms have their own bathroom.

Sports
Every day, sports activities are provided. Here, students can choose between: basketball, cricket, football, rugby, badminton, swimming, tennis, volleyball.

Trips
The excursion program of the school is very varied. Excursions are organized with sightseeing in London, Brighton, Leeds Castle, Oxford, Cambridge, and Chessington Amusement Park.

Types of Courses

  • Holiday Camp (12 - 17): the program provides 20 hours of general English and 10 hours of language use in the following areas: Journalism, Creative Writing / Storytelling, Digital Photography, Culinary Arts, Arts. English classes aim to make students feel confident in using English, and the afternoon activities are focused on developing speech, listening and understanding skills.
  • English and scenic arts (12 - 17 years): the weekly program includes 20 hours of English morning and 16 hours of theatre and dances in the afternoon. The course of scenic arts is suitable for all levels. Qualified teachers teach acting lessons, vocal interpretation and dances. The program includes a musical visit to a theatre in West End, London.
  • Preparation for the IELTS Exam (14 - 17 years): this intensive course includes 20 hours of general English weekly and 16 hours of preparation to support the IELTS exam. The course is suitable for those who want to familiarize themselves with the test format, improve their English academic knowledge and work skills under examination conditions. All components of the exam are practised.
  • Young Leaders (11 - 13; 14 - 17 years old): the weekly program includes 20 hours of debating and 20 hours of critical thinking. Discussions on global issues in politics, economy and law are addressed. Students prepare speeches, interviews, and work on texts. By participating in seminars, debates, and small groups, learners learn to present their arguments, use persuasion techniques, present their ideas to the public, structure their arguments, use an appropriate style of expression and rethorical techniques.
  • Young Leaders (14 - 17 years old): students aged 14-17 who have experience in debating or who have graduated the standard Young Leaders course have the opportunity to opt for the advanced course of Young Leaders. It includes 20 hours of critical debates and 20 hours of discussion and study on subjects in philosophy, economics and politics at a university level, as well as university training.
